From Johanna Basford's Christmas using Crayola pencils and Sakura gelly rolls. The gelly rolls are new to me so am having some fun getting used to them. This is on white paper and these come in metallic, stardust and moonlight along with classic colors and and gold/silver shadows. I'm sure they'll look different on black paper and am working on a project for it.

This started out as a new experience with an opportunity using new pencils. These types of pencils aren't made for coloring books because there's smearing. However... after a little research and going through what I already own, used a tombow brush to blend te pastels. They're beautiful colors so I went small in my first try. Went back and forth with a stump and also laying down a layer of Prismacolor first and last to see how it would look. Not too shabby if I say so.
